The SL Switch is the universal automation solution for sheet metal processing. Thanks to the unique telescopic open construction, the laser bed and tower remain freely accessible, while the system loads and unloads fully automatically. With large storage capacity, reduced internal transport and the possibility of 24/7 unmanned production, the SL Switch is ready to take on any challenge.
The SL Switch offers maximum flexibility in automated sheet processing. The system combines extensive storage capacity with an open design, allowing you to benefit from full automation as well as free access to the laser bed. Ideal for companies looking to scale up, optimise processes and be ready for 24/7 unmanned production. Cut sheets are deposited directly on pallets, also suitable for AGV pick-up, ensuring an efficient and fully integrated production process.
Thanks to its open design, the laser bed remains freely accessible, allowing manual intervention when needed. At the same time, the system can load and unload autonomously, ideal for hybrid production environments. Cut sheets are loaded directly onto pallets and are easily linked to an AGV for fully automated internal transport. Moreover, the separate tower at the SL Switch can also feed other machines, e.g. via an overhead crane. This way, you increase flexibility and make best use of storage capacity.
Whether you work manually today and want to automate tomorrow, or immediately want to switch to full unmanned production: the SL Switch grows effortlessly with your ambitions. The system is modular, easily expandable and seamlessly integrated into existing production environments. Its robust, scalable design and ability to automatically unload cut sheets onto pallets – including AGV support – keeps your production environment ready for tomorrow’s demands.
The SL Switch is fully modular and can therefore be perfectly tailored to the needs and growth phase of your business. You can start with a basic configuration, where the machine autonomously processes a single package without a tower storage attached. Ideal for companies taking their first steps towards automation, while maintaining maximum accessibility.
Are production volumes growing or is complexity increasing? Then an extended configuration with warehouse, multiple unloading points and links to one or more lasers is easy to realise. Thus, the SL Switch grows effortlessly with your production needs – from semi-automatic to fully unmanned 24/7 production.
